I have been putting off blogging a little bit lately, but after this last snowfall (that seems like it will be sticking around for good this winter), I thought I'd throwback to my last summer wedding to brighten up my day - and hopefully yours too!
Sharley and Jason’s wedding was easy going and fun! Starting things off with the hustle and bustle of getting ready, one of the most exciting parts of the day. The pre-wedding "jitters" as we anticipate the events of the day. I always recomend to my couples, it is important to document these moments. I feel they hold a lot of value, and are nice to reflect on once the day is over. Sharley and her girls got ready in the cutest little salon, Lacquer & Lace Esthetics & Boutique, which is located in the bottom of an old church in Strongfield. This little salon has all sorts of amazing antiques which make it worthy of a visit just for that, as well as the friendly staff who beautified the ladies up!
Things quickly moved on to the ceremony which was held at Sharley and Jasons farm - such a personal and special place to commit their lives to one another. I am not one to ever tell a couple how to get married, but I would by lying if I didn't say my favourite ceremonies take place outdoors. So my inner soul was so happy to witness their ceremony.
After their heartfelt ceremony, surrounded by family and friends, we made our way to an iconic Saskatchewan Location - Gardiner Dam for some bridal party, and couples portraits. It is actually where Jason works, so again, had a personal connection to them, which I think is so cool!
Once things were wrapped up at the dam, we headed off to the reception venue. All of the guests were enjoying everything before and after the main event and it was so nice to see! Thank you Sharley and Jason for making this day so enjoyable! You guys were amazing and everything was such a pleasure to capture!
